All Price are in RS (1$ = 100Rs). It is possible to have miscalculations here because I'm not very good in mathematics. May be that's why I can't figure out why only cigarette cheaper in Sri Lanka and every thing else is expensive than America.

Oh Yes! “getting drunk with your friends on old arrack at SSC with some devilled prawns and chicken - PRICELESS!!!” I agree with you 100%
But the only issue is all my bloody friends are married now and their bloody wife’s do not let them go to SSC no more! Good old days - PRICELESS!!!”

Totally disagree..
You can not compare Apples with Oranges.
Similarly, US prices with Sri Lankan prices.
When live in Sri Lanka, you are expected to live like a Sri Lankan.

Eat “Rathu Hal” not Basmathi, brush the tooth from your middle finger.. not from Oral B, travel by Bullock Cart not from Hyundai, Drink “Kithul Ra” not Beer, use “Kithul Hakuru” not sugar, who use soap and shampoo..are u nuts?.. ok I am not going to cover your entire list..

by the way.. we are such a small country.. why we need telephone connections? Telephone communication works when one side talk and other side ready to listen.. do you need a telephone connection for both sides to talk and no one to listen?

Think the positive side? We are unique..

Can anyone tell me for how much I can buy a politician in US ?... no hard
feelings..
just for my curiosity. Because I am very sure that in Sri Lanka it's much cheaper than in US.

Politician in SL is not cheap as you think - You need to offer 40% to 50% if you need to buy them.
If that is continues project run under government subsidiary – like flour import contract – you should offer around 0.50US per every pack. Do the match how many packs in one ship load & how many ships per a month.

Other than that – Good P*su can use for pay any politician in Sri Lanka any time for anything – valid as hard currency.

This is crazy but true.
